This place has REALLY gone downhill! after taking my son for 7 straight haircuts at your business and filling out his entire “home run card”, we were told today (as he FINALLY reaches home plate) that you are no longer honoring the rewards card! We were both extremely disappointed. Surely this cannot be accurate right!? If so, that is an absolutely terrible business practice - to not honor a rewards card that is currently out in circulation. If after the existing cards have been utilized you chose to discontinue the rewards program that is fine and a respectable decision. But to cut loyal customers off after they have been continuously coming to you for service to earn “rewards” is not acceptable. Unfortunately I will have to leave negative reviews and recommend new haircut businesses for people because I cannot support a business that doesn’t honor their promotions. You just lost a family of devoted customers and many more as a result of your extremely poor decision.

While visiting Port St. Lucie for my son's birthday, we decided to check out this hair salon. I checked in and was told by the stylist that I would need to wait about 10 mins for the next stylist to return from her lunch, since she hadn't taken a break or eaten since 7am. So I said that wouldn't be a problem. I received my text that I was "on deck" so we decided to come in and take a seat. When we came in, we were welcomed by the manager, or who appeared to be the manager for this location, nice small talk. Space was nice & clean and we were looking forward to the experience. After a few minutes the same blond older lady returned; I'm assuming after consulting with manager, & asked for details on what exactly I would be needing. I explained that we wanted a low fade and she then proceeded to make an attempt to clarify what I meant by "low fade" by asking what I wanted to do with the back of my son's head and described it as the "things in the back of his head". When she didn't know what to call his hair I asked if she was familiar with cutting Afro-American hair and she stated she was or "I could wait for Rochelle". She then proceeded to go to the back of my son's head and motioned to how high she would be cutting, indicating she probably wasn't familiar with a "low fade". When I inquired as to whether she was aware of different hair terms and types she said, "I'm from Kentucky and all we have there are hillbillies, so I'm not familiar with what the names of different hairstyles". This "stylist" and I use the term VERY loosely, needs to educate herself to the possibility of different clientele that may come thru those doors. I've never taken a beauty course in my life, but what I do know is customer service and how not to show my obvious ignorance. I will tell whomever will listen about this experience, you can believe this. Both my son and I were so shocked and disgusted by this experience.

I would first like the say the staff this evening were amazing. Bubbly and energetic. Both had smiles on their faces that would brighten the grinches day. Kylee did an amazing job with what hair I have left. I went in a 2 came out an 8. Would give more stars but 5 Is as high as I could rate it.
